about

Camping on Fortescue River listening to the never-ending roar of trains day and night, with sadness of heart taking momma the earth away from me. Lyrics inspired by Jesse Mae Hemphill, Train, Train, Northern Mississippi, a Country/Blues lyric originally recorded, possibly 1923 or there about.

lyrics

Train, train comin’ down the railroad track,
Takin’ my momma, away from me.

Hear the south wind blowin’, it’s whisperin’ my shame,
Without momma, will never be the same.

Train, train comin down the railroad track,
It’s takin’ my momma, away from me.
